Team Invitations

Invite team members via email with role assignment and invitation management.

Invite team members to your workspace via email. Each invitation includes a role assignment so new members get the right permissions from day one.

Sending Invitations

  1. Navigate to the Members page in your workspace
  2. Click Invite Members
  3. Enter email addresses
  4. Select a role (Owner, Member, or Auditor)
  5. Send invitations

Role Assignment Rules

You can only assign roles at your hierarchy level or below:

  • Owners can invite anyone (Owner, Member, or Auditor)
  • Members with invites.manage permission can invite Members or Auditors
  • Auditors cannot send invitations

Invitation Flow

  1. The recipient receives an email with an invitation link
  2. If they don't have a Beel account, they create one first
  3. Upon accepting, they gain immediate access to the workspace
  4. The workspace appears in their account switcher

Managing Invitations

Track and manage pending invitations from the Members page:

  • View pending invites — See all outstanding invitations with email and assigned role
  • Revoke invitations — Cancel pending invites before they're accepted
  • Resend — Send reminder emails for outstanding invitations

Invitations can be revoked at any time before acceptance.

After Joining

Once a team member accepts an invitation:

  • They see all invoices in the workspace (based on their role)
  • Owners and Members can immediately start managing invoices
  • Auditors can view and download but cannot modify

Use Cases

Onboarding a New Employee

Invite as Member with default permissions. They'll have full invoice access on day one.

External Accountant

Invite as Auditor for read-only access during month-end or year-end reviews. Revoke when the review period ends.

New Business Partner

Invite as Owner if they need full control, or Member with select permissions for operational access only.
