Dashboard
Your financial command center with real-time invoice statistics and quick actions.
The dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Beel. It's designed to give you a complete picture of your invoice activity in seconds.
Key Statistics
Four metric cards at the top of the dashboard:
Total Invoices
Complete count of all invoices in your workspace, with this month's count highlighted separately.
Total Spent
Cumulative spending across all verified invoices. Displayed in your preferred currency.
This Month
Current month's spending with invoice count. Compare against previous months at a glance.
Needs Review
Count of invoices in Pending Review status. Color-coded when action is needed — green when clear, yellow when items are waiting.
Spending Trends Chart
A monthly bar chart showing your spending over time. Use this to:
- Spot seasonal patterns in expenses
- Identify unexpected spikes
- Track month-over-month changes
- Verify budget adherence
Category Breakdown
A donut chart showing how spending is distributed across your categories. Hover over any segment to see the exact amount and percentage.
Needs Attention Section
Invoices that need your review appear here with:
- Vendor name and amount
- Reason for flagging (low confidence, high value, uncertain match)
- One-click access to the full invoice detail
Clear this section regularly to keep your data accurate.
Recent Invoices
The last 5-10 invoices processed, sorted by date. Quick verification that your latest scan captured everything, or instant detection of duplicate charges.
Scan History
Track your automated Gmail scans:
- When the last scan ran
- How many invoices were found
- Processing success rate
- Any errors that occurred
Quick Actions
Scan Now
Trigger a new Gmail scan for any date range. Choose from presets or pick custom dates.
Upload Invoice
Manually add invoices that didn't arrive via email.
Connect Email
Link additional Gmail accounts to enable automated scanning.
Gmail Connection Status
Indicators showing which Gmail accounts are connected, when they last synced, and whether they're active. Quickly identify if a connection needs attention.
Date Range Filtering
Switch the entire dashboard between time periods:
- All Time — Complete history
- This Month — Month-to-date
- Last 7 Days — Recent activity
- Last 30 Days — Monthly view
- Custom — Pick any start and end date
All statistics, charts, and lists update instantly.
Currency Display
If you work with multiple currencies, the dashboard converts everything to your preferred currency for a unified view. Individual invoice amounts still show their original currency.
