Questions about changing invoice filenames
Does renaming change anything inside the PDF?
No. The document content is not edited. The tool only changes the filename used for the downloaded copy.
Which characters can I use in the new filename?
Use letters, numbers, spaces, hyphens and underscores for broad compatibility. Unsafe filesystem characters are cleaned before download.
Will the tool add the .pdf extension?
Yes. If the name does not already end in .pdf, the extension is added to the downloaded file.
Is the invoice uploaded when I rename it?
No. The rename operation runs locally in the browser and the selected PDF is not sent to Getbeel.
